Hot off of its North American premiere at TIFF, we're giving you the chance to see an advance screening of Universal Pictures' Victoria & Abdul! Screenings will take place on September 25th in Toronto and on October 4th in Montreal and Vancouver.

Academy Award winner Judi Dench (“Shakespeare in Love”) reunites with Academy Award-nominated director Stephen Frears (“The Queen”), and returns to the role of Queen Victoria, in “Victoria & Abdul.” The screenplay of “Victoria & Abdul” is by Academy Award nominee Lee Hall (“Billy Elliot”), based on journalist Shrabani Basu’s book Victoria & Abdul: The True Story of the Queen’s Closest Confidant., which brought to light the long-hidden history of Victoria and Abdul from their own diaries and journals. The extraordinary true story of the amazing and unlikely friendship between Queen Victoria (Judi Dench) and a young clerk, Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal), who becomes her teacher, her spiritual advisor, and her devoted friend. In 1887, Abdul travels from India to present a ceremonial medal as part of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee but surprisingly finds favor with the elderly Queen. Contest open to legal residents of Canada aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, and closes Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time for Toronto entrants and Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:59 Eastern Time for Montreal and Vancouver entrants. One prize per household. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of entries received. Winner(s) will be selected at random, and will be contacted via Twitter direct message, Facebook message or email, depending on the method(s) of entry.
